New national standards for instruments and meters!

Recently, the standards "GB/T 46568.1-2025 Reliability of Intelligent Instrumentation - Part 1: Methods for Reliability Testing and Evaluation" and "GB/T 46568.2-2025 Reliability of Intelligent Instrumentation - Part 2: Methods for Electrical System Reliability Enhancement Testing" were officially released and will come into effect on May 1, 2026. 

 These two national standards are under the jurisdiction of TC124 (National Standardization Technical Committee for Industrial Process Measurement, Control and Automation), and are implemented by TC124SC2 (Subcommittee of National Standardization Technical Committee for Industrial Process Measurement, Control and Automation, Control Instruments and Devices, and Industrial Control Computer Systems). The competent authority is the China Machinery Industry Federation. The main drafting units of this standard include the Institute of Comprehensive Technology and Economics for Instrumentation of the Machinery Industry, Southwest University, Sinopec Safety Engineering Research Institute, Beijing Satellite Environmental Engineering Institute, Chongqing Saibao Industrial Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd., Guangdian Measurement and Testing Group Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Wanxun Automation Co., Ltd., and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, among other institutions, universities, and enterprises.
